I am a great lover of chocolate. This keto chocolate brownie that I experimented with is so delicious, full of chocolate, soft, delicious and amazingly simple to make!

Chocolate can be combined with many other flavors like vanilla, coffee, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, anise, cayenne.

I love the flavor of cardamom so I combined the flavors of vanilla and cardamom to my brownies. Vanilla is always the base of my chocolate recipes.


6 tablespoons of unsalted butter cut into small cubes

11 oz of unsweetened chocolate chips

1/4 cup of powdered sweetener (stevia or monk fruit sweetener)

1/8th teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 teaspoon of powdered cardamom

5 eggs


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Prepare a square 8X8 square baking pan , spray oil or line with parchment paper so that the brownies do not stick to the pan.

In a large bowl beat the eggs with the powdered sugar and salt till frothy.

In a large microwaveable bowl add the chocolate chips and the cubed butter and microwave for 1 minute. Remove the bowl every 15 minutes and stir the chocolate chips and butter with a spatula.

The chocolate mixture will become smooth and creamy. To this mixture add the vanilla extract and cardamom powder or any other spice of your choice. Stir the mixture till well blended.

Allow the mixture to cool for a minute.

Now add this chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and beat them well together till they are smooth and form a dough consistency.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan.

Place in the preheated oven for 35 – 38 minutes.

Remove from oven. Cool completely for 30 minutes.

Cut into squares with a serrated knife and enjoy with a cup of coffee.
