KETO BREAKFAST BOWL

This low carb breakfast dish is very delicious and satisfying and can be enjoyed as breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is easy to make and is and can be ready in minutes.

Please use fresh grated cheese, do not buy the already grated ones . buy a block of cheese and grate it at home. I used serrano pepper in the recipe because I like the sharp hot taste but you can substitute with freshly ground black pepper.

INGREDIENTS

1 tablespoon butter softened

4 large eggs

1 cup of fresh grated cheddar cheese

4 tablespoons of heavy cream

2 tablespoons of chopped green onions

1 serrano pepper finely chopped or 1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper

1/4 teaspoon of salt

PREPARATION

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare a baking dish or a pyrex bowl that is a 4 cup size.

Smear the softened butter generously inside the bowl.

Now in a deep bowl add the eggs and salt and beat them well.

Add the cream to the egg and whisk well. Add the grated cheese, serrano and green onions to the egg mixture and stir to combine them.

Now pour the egg mixture into the prepared baking dish and place it in the preheated oven for 35 minutes.

The eggs cook and puff up and set. Remove from the oven. Enjoy this warm delicious dish for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
