
CHOCOLATE CAKE – KETO
This is a super moist, delicious and easy to make chocolate cake that can be made in a loaf pan.
INGREDIENTS
1 3/4 Cup blanched almond flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup granulated sweetener ( stevia, xylitol or erythritol)
2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup and 1 tablespoon melted butter.
3 large eggs
3/4 cup plain greek yogurt or sour cream
chopped nuts of your choice to decorate. I like berries in my cake so I added a few fresh blue berries ( these are optional)
PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a large bowl add yougurt, eggs, vanilla extract and melted unsalted butter, and beat them with a hand mixer.
3. Now add the dry ingredients to it Add almond flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder and salt and beat them with the wet ingredients till everything is blended well.
4.Now pour the mixture into your parchment lined loaf pan.
5.Pour the cake mixture into the loaf pan. Decorate on the top with chopped nuts.
6. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 45 – 50 minutes.
7. Remove when toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool for 30 minutes.
8. Remove from the loaf pan and cut into slices. Enjoy with your favorite berries or Keto ice cream.
