This recipe has ripe bananas and so I did not add sugar.

These amazing muffins are so healthy, they have no added sugar or oil in them.
They are rich in protein and fiber and absolutely tasty!

They have become a great hit with my family and friends ❤ 🙂 they can be eaten as breakfast or just as a healthy snack.

3 large ripe bananas
3 large eggs
3 cups almond flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon or cardamom powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
a few dark chocolate chips to decorate


  1. Preheat the oven for 350 degrees
  2. Blend eggs, bananas, vanilla, cardamom, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a blender
  3. Add the almond flour and blend some more to make it smooth
  4. The batter makes 12 muffins. So in a oiled muffin tin place 12 scoops of the batter, add 4 chocolate chips to each muffin top and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
    Remove from the oven, cool and enjoy.
